Montreal, July 21, 2023 – Polystyvert today announces a change in its management team. After founding the company and guiding it through its development phases, Solenne Brouard Gaillot, currently Chief Growth Officer, has decided to leave the company to develop other projects. She is also stepping down from her role on the Board of Directors, while maintaining her status as a company shareholder.

“I am proud of what I have accomplished. From the founding of Polystyvert to its international growth, it has been a tremendous adventure. We have done a fantastic job. Polystyvert is proof that it is possible to combine economy and ecology. We have demonstrated that polystyrene is a material with high added value and that it is profitable to recycle. I am also proud that we have paved the way for the closed loop recycling of ABS,” says Ms. Brouard Gaillot.

Furthermore, Ms. Brouard Gaillot will remain devoted to her mission of raising awareness for plastic recycling. She voices the desire of forming an association to promote physical recycling technologies.

Polystyvert remains committed in its development journey with a team dedicated to fostering growth and ensuring the success of major projects, including the construction of the first full-scale commercial plant for polystyrene recycling. During the transition period until a new team member arrives, Nathalie Morin, President, and CEO will lead the company’s business development efforts, supported by the exceptional and talented team that has been instrumental in Polystyvert’s achievements and growth over the years.

“We would like to thank Solenne for her vision and the creation of the company. Her dedication has been a key driver of Polystyvert development and success. We wish her all the best for the future, and we are convinced that she will continue to make a positive difference in the world of plastics recycling. Polystyvert is now a company with a mature technology ready for commercialization, and a strong team focused on the next stages of its growth,” concluded Ms. Morin.
